Commissioner's Comments
With only 6 weeks left in the regular season play, we have a very interesting race taking place. Finally, after week 9, there is no longer an undefeated team. The Rookies were taken down (a SMALL notch) by Ty's Tornado. The Tornado blew over the game, and when the storm cleared, the Rookies were defeated 41-27. This was a big win for the Tornados (4-5) and a minor setback for the Rookies (8-1). There was a tie this week between the BullDozers and the Mercenaries. Both Teams storming to a week high 57 points... but alas in the overtime play (the tie-breakers), the Mercenaries overran the BullDozers with 12 from his kicker vs. 5 points with the 'Dozers defense. The Mercenaries had Emmitt Smith on the bench with 21 points and Errict Rhett on the field with 21 points. The scoring committee had to add a special mechanism to break the tied scores, so for the rest of the season we will see a decimal point in the point's column. Super Bowl playoffs are week 16 and the Super Bowl is week 17. The top team in each division will make the playoffs. The next two seeds are the next two best records, regardless of which division they are in. Anyone with 4 or more wins has a realistic chance at making the playoffs. The bottom four ranked teams will have an option to get into 'The Toilet Bowl" playoffs this year. There will be a $15 entry fee for this and no one will be forced to play. We will offer it until we have 4 of the lowest ranked teams involved. Talk to the commish for details. Good luck in week 10.
