Commissioner's Comments
With Week 9 behind us and only SIX more weeks of regular season play, we still have such a tight race that literally ANYONE could still, easily, get into the Super Bowl Playoffs. This season has the closest Win/Loss record in history after 9 weeks.

The two division leaders faced off this week to set precedence for competition. The Brawlers and the Killers went after it, and the BADDEST emerged. The Brawlers went in to brawl... and the Killers went in to Kill... guess who won!!!  KEG took them out with a score of 48-31....  The Angry A's just can't seem to get their numbers turned around. The Elm Sprouts took advantage of the Accountants lousy math and beat them down.  Ellish wins 39-16 keeping Robert to a record of 3-6. (In his Rookie season (99) after 9 weeks, Robert's "Rookies" had a record of 8-1  That season he had an 8-0 start, 10-5 season, and he won the Super bowl....)  A puff of smoke, a golden rule... That was what went into the game in the Smokey Spot vs. the Educators bout. The result was a 26-16 victory for the Spot and another lesson taught to the Educators.  Going into Monday night, Adams was tied with the record LOW in the recorded History of this league. A record in which He Himself holds. (In week 6 of the 1999 season, it was an Adams Family match up when "J's Dream Team" scored only 6 points against  "Bill's Buds" 17 points. )  Bobby's BullDozers covered Sweet Meat like a piece of old meat at the landfill.  The Meat loses another game?  That stinks!!  Bobby takes a narrow victory with a score of 21-16, but HEY… The 'Dozers Quarterback was off this week and the team played without a full lineup.  Brady was on the bench with 19 points.   Meanwhile, the Electric Crew short circuited the Bombers as Bill's team racked up the high score for the week with the final being 51-23. Poor Brad... Poor Dave... Poor Robert, AWAJ, and Kevin.. 

There was an emergency meeting called and The Commish, the Ethnics Committee, and the Treasurer were present.  We all agreed that the Brawlers team name will be changed next week. He never shows up on Friday to protect his gonads so we can change his name any time we want and harass him. Watch for the new name next week. I guess by this report you can tell that I have been studying the History of the league.  Adams (The COLLECTOR) has stats about the history of the league and more info is being compiled.  Check it out... talk to Jim.

Our Sympathy is extended to Bobby as his father passed away this past week.
