Commissioner's Comments

Week 5 has come and gone - One third of the regular season is behind us, and there is still one team remaining that is undefeated.

 

Going into a BIZARRE Monday night game, the Killers and the Spot had only a three point difference. The Killers lead 45-42. Smokey's Spot has Harrison playing and the Killers have the Tampa Bay defense. In the forth quarter Tampa Bay lead Indianapolis 35-14. Indy makes an ASTONISHING comeback and win the game. Tampa Bay's regular defense score only 9 points and Harrison gets two touchdowns and an outstanding 176 yards giving the Spot 15 points and Smokey Spot Wins by three... Right!! ??? WRONG - In the First Quarter, when Indianapolis intercepted the ball then fumbled on the same play, McCardell (now a defensive player because of the interception/fumble) recovers the fumble and runs the ball in for a touchdown. This gave the Tampa Bay defense an obscure additional six points, giving the Killers (100% coaching)  an additional six points, high score of the week, and a win by three, 60-57. Smokey Spot is robbed of a victory - guess he should have played Tiki. **** Sweet Meat plays a perfect game (100% coaching) and defeat the bombers 43-33. Had the Bombers played a perfect game they could have won. **** The Educators leave a ton of points and another victory sitting on the bench as they surrender to the Accountants 41-30. **** The Elm Sprouts commit a Mercy Killing on their own team by playing McNabb (4) over Johnson (19) because McNabb is "due". The BullDozers take that gift, along with a victory, defeating the Sprouts 41-33, and Ellish waves bye-bye to another victory. **** The Cowboys get their second victory by defeating Team SMTM (100% coaching)  with a score of 47-27. Team SMTM defined : Still Making The Move. (Too bad it is in the wrong direction)
