Commissioner's Comments
Week 7 has come and gone and we are nearly half way through the regular season of play.

Going into Monday night, the Educators lead the Cowboys 40-38. The Educators have Rich Gannon starring in Monday night game and the Cowboys have Garner and the Oakland kicker in their corner of the ring. Gannon, with 0 points, left the game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury. Charlie Garner had a good night but not good enough to return any points for the Cowboys leaving only the Oakland Kicker. BOTTOM LINE- Janakowski scores 4 points and return the victory for the Cowboys (100% coaching) who now have a 3-4 record with the final score of 42-40. The Educators left 22 points on the bench which would have given them an additional 16 points and a victory... A short lived lesson last week. *** Keg's Killers (100% coaching) are on a four game winning streak. They carve another notch in the victory club as they beat down another victim. Texas D&M (30) couldn't pool together enough points, and become the latest victim of the Killers, who scored 53 points for the victory giving him a 3-4 record. *** Sweet Meat use the Elm Sprouts for firewood as the Meat defeat the Sprouts 47-40. The Elm Sprouts (100% coaching) couldn't have come up with enough points and just burn in the fire. *** The Bulldozers roll over another team as they squashed the Accountants with a 53-33 final score, giving each of these teams a 5-2 record. *** Smokey Spot defeated the Team SMTM with the high score of the week of 59. Leaving players like Hearst and Christie on the bench for a total of 43 benched points and a difference of 25 points cost SMTM the game (again). This Victory for the Spot keeps them in a 3 way tie for first place in the Bottom Division, all with a 5-2 record.

Many games again this week have once again proven that hind sight is truly 20-20 vision.  However, EVERY team still has a chance to make it to the BIG Game.
