Commissioner's Comments

The regular season is more than half complete and some of the owners might wish to re-evaluate their teams. Back in 1994, I started the season with a 0-5 record. After week 5, I made a dramatic 6 changes to my roster (all paid for), and finished the season with a record of 9-6, I played in the Super Bowl and came in 2nd in the league. Just some food for thought.

 

The Educators and Texas D&M both had 100% coaching this week. The High score of the week was 57 points, produced by the BullDozers. Priest Holmes was the highest scoring player this week with 18 points. There are three teams in the Bottom Division tied with a 6-2 record, and there are two teams with a 5-3 record. For the rest of the league - THESE are the teams to beat if you want to vie for a spot in the playoffs. (More food for thought)

 

Many teams are stricken with injuries. The key is QUICKLY replacing injured players with maximum available talent. If you wait to make a change, you could be hurting your own team and allowing good talent to become a member of another team. Also, late bloomers often burn points on the bench instead of burning up the field. If you have known talent on your team, you may consider playing them in the game, especially in this part of the season. Everyone has had their weeks of warm-ups, PLAY that talent. (Again, MORE food for thought)
